Morag was introduced to Nadine and her voicework in 1996 at a Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
alumni workshop, recommended by her teacher, Ros Steen. This work has continued to
influence Morag’s creative and teaching practice ever since, and it inspired her to eventually
transition from her dual acting-teaching career and immerse herself in teaching Voice full-time. In
2013 she was awarded a scholarship for the MA Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of
Speech and Drama and in 2022 she became an accredited NGVW teacher.
NGVW marries Morag’s love of the sung note, the spoken word and unique, individual vocal
identity. She is currently a lecturer at East 15 Acting School, where she works with five specialist
performance training programmes. NGVW provides an embodied vocal practice to support
demanding physical performances, such as Aerial and Fight Performance. Her international
students studying MA Acting for Digital Media develop character voices through NGVW for
recorded voicework and Motion Capture performances.
Morag’s work with professional performers includes productions for Netflix, BBC TV/Radio and
The National Theatre of Scotland. She is dialect coach for Regents Park Open Air Theatre, 2025.
